Take a Moment to Look at the Last Ever Bugatti Veyron Named La Finale

Bugatti Veyron has ruled the roost for a decade and sadly it is now the end of an era. At the 2015 Geneva Motor Show Bugatti displayed the last ever Veyron; cleverly named La Finale. The last model is based on the Grand Sport Vitesse and is number 450 of a 450 car run.

Last Ever Bugatti Veyron; La Finale

Bugatti thought carefully about creating the last car in the run. They made sure that they paid tribute to the first car made. The 001 car combines a black-painted bonnet and red arches, the final car inverts the colour concept. The last car also gets a set of matching, maroon wheels, and contrasting black air intakes finish off the look.

Final Modifications

There are a selection of final touches on the car that the designers wanted to make the car more unique. But only small things, such as Bugatti’s logo appearing on the wheel center caps, fuel door, and oil cap. Inside there is another logo cast in bronze on the storage compartment cover. And even minute details such as “La Finale” being written in a brighter shade of red under the passenger headlight on the front wing.

No More Power Needed

The last car doesn’t receive any more power over the Grand Sport Vitesse models. But it doesn’t need it, it has an 8.0-litre, quad-turbo, W16 engine with 1,184bhp, it can do 0-60mph in 2.6 seconds, and a top speed of 255mph. So take my word for it when I say it is fast enough.

With the next Bugatti model, we are aiming to consolidate and expand the market-leading position we have established with the Veyron – President Wolfgang Dürheimer
