Following the sad news of the death of Sir Jack Brabham (aged 88) – the oldest surviving Formula 1 World Champion, we thought it would be a nice idea to remind our readers of what a great driver he was.
Sir Jack Brabham had an F1 career that spanned 15 years, racing in 126 races. His career included 14 race wins, 13 pole position starts, and three World Championships (1959, 1960, & 1966).
Brabham was the first Australian to win the F1 World Championship, and below you can watch the video of that very moment when the magic happened.
