As we know Rolls-Royce have always been a company 100% dedicated to luxury. But surprisingly, with the recent release of its most powerful production car the Rolls-Royce Wraith, Rolls have been paying more attention to performance. This release proves that fact completely.
Rolls-Royce Ghost V-Spec
It is called the Rolls-Royce Ghost V-Spec. As if the standard 6.6 litre, twin turbo, V12, 570bhp engine wasn’t quite powerful enough for you, it has now been boosted up to 601bhp. Only 23bhp behind their fastest Wraith. We have also heard rumours that there has been multiple suspension upgrades to improve the ride and handling.
V-Spec is another member of the growing special edition Ghost family, coming with a Sapphire Black exterior paint scheme, 21-inch alloy wheels taken from the Wraith, along with V-Specification rear armrest with black embroidery, inlay to monitor lid, foot rests, black stitching, a unique clock and unique piping.
So how much will these changes set you back? Well, be prepared to cough up £275,000 to purchase one. Even if you have the cash, actually purchasing one won’t be easy with it understandably being a limited edition.
Rolls-Royce is preparing a mild makeover for the Ghost which will likely be introduced in March at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
