The Speciality Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show will be held in Las Vegas later later this year. Hyundai have partnered with ARK Performance to produce the latest Hyundai concept based on the Hyundai Genesis called the ‘Legato’.
Straight to the good stuff… ARK Performance fiddleed with the 3.8-litre V-6 engine and now we have a 4.0-litre and produces 400bhp. New pistons, a new crankshaft and connecting rods, and a new oil cooler help the more powerful car keep its composure. Additionally, an upgraded intake and headers have been fitted as well.
Now more powerful, it also needs upgrades to keep it moving in the correct direction and with the shiny side up. ARK Performance swapped in a coil-over suspension system and changed out the standard wheels for lighter Rays Engineering wheels.
Nearly as dramatic as the power gains, the front end has been redesigned and is now far more aggressive which I like a lot about this concept. A lot of styling has changed from both the front and the rear as well. The entire looks seems to work really well in the rendering. In real life I can see this car looking amazing. What a great partnership.
