Only 10 cars will be built and all of them are going to be based on the powerful Seven 250 R version. The power will come from a Ford Sigma 4 cylinder 1.6-litre engine making 125 bhp . The engine will work together with a 6 speed manual gearbox and a limited slip diff. This will enable the Seven to hit 60 mph from standstill in 5.9 seconds, before topping out at 122mph.

Pure McLaren Hosted at Silverstone in the Wet!

The Pure McLaren event was hosted at Silverstone this week, enabling McLaren owners to run their cars around the Silverstone circuit, exclusively. The line up of cars looks immense, and I wish I could have been there to watch them take on the circuit.

Pure McLaren – Bad Weather

The drivers on the day were getting professional guidance by instructors whilst on the circuit, which judging on the weather conditions on track, I think any advice on handling would be highly appreciated. You will be happy to here that none of these car were damaged whilst taking on the soaked circuit.

Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato Makes its Debut in Italy

There is a long history between Lamborghini and Italian coach builder Zagato. The two first started working together back in the 1960s, and this weekend they celebrated their long term partnership at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este by showing this stunning one off creation; the Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato.

The 5-95 is based on the the Lambroghini Gallardo LP570-4. The special edition car pays tribute to Lamborghini’s best ever selling model the Gallardo that was discontinued earlier this year.

Key Features

The front end features Murcielago style headlights, a wind deflector just in front of the windscreen, and a floating front spoiler, similar to the one seen on the Lamborghini Raptor Zagato concept.

The Lamborghini 5-95 also features a few other Zagato signatures, such as the pillar-less body, double bubble roof, and truncated rear end, which is a visual tip of the hat to the 1965 Lamborghini 3500 GTZ, the first Zagato-bodied Lambo ever made.

MINI Superleggera Vision Concept - Make or Break?

BMW MINI executive, Peter Schwarzenbauer, has recently released information and pictures of the MINI Superleggera Vision concept. The news was released at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este last weekend.

Schwarzenbauer hasn’t confirmed that the Mini Superleggera will be going into production at the moment, but he did say that MINI are looking for new “superheroes” to push the brand forward. You can interpret that how you wish.

The concept actually looks like something pretty special and could cost just £28,280 on the road. The concept was developed in conjunction with Touring Superleggra and has a hand crafted body and an electric power train.

Taking a look at the bodywork, you certainly get a taste of an old school English look. You can see there is a frameless glass windscreen, a funnelled bonnet, and shark-tail fin on the boot lid. I think the car looks great and moving the car into production will force a few changes, but I’m sure it would come off the production line looking just a as good.

BMW Individual Creates Unique M6 Coupe

BMW Team RMG driver, Marco Wittmann, asked BMW if they would build a custom BMW M6 CoupĂ©  for him, and as he is a devoted BMW racing driver they made his wish come true.

BMW Individual

BMW Individual got to work and what they ended up creating was a ‘Fire Orange’ unique M6.  To contrast the orange paintwork, there is a black roof, black mirror caps, and high gloss black accents on the grill and window trim.

Inside

The colour craze continues on the inside as well, with carbon fibre trim being combined with accents in Fire Orange. Fine grain Merino leather in Black with BMW Individual contrast stitching, in Kyalami Orange, complete the interior changes.

The BMW M6 CoupĂ© goes from 0-60mph in 4.2 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 155mph.

Jaguar E-Type - A Rare Gem

It’s more and more rare these days that you manage to cast your eye over a Jaguar E-Type. But when you do spot one, you always stop and take a moment to enjoy just how good these cars still look.

Jaguar E-Type Demo Car

At SMMT Test Day this year NewsPress brought down their E-Type demo car to be tested by the media. For a lucky few they got to re-live the 1970′s dream of driving this impressive sports car around Milbrook proving ground. Sadly I didn’t get to take it for spin, but I was still very happy to see this demo car being taken out rather than being put on static display.

E-Type Opinions

I’m yet to meet a person that doesn’t admire the E-Type Jag. Talking to journalists on the day that took the iconic car for a test drive they were still very impressed with the driving experience of the E-Type, and you could tell from the grin on their faces that they were over the moon to have to the opportunity to test out this rare gem.

The Jaguar F-Type V8R Coupe is the definitive sports car from Jaguar. Powered by a incredible 5.0-litre V8 550bhp supercharged engine with 680Nm of torque. A 0-60mph time of 4.0 seconds and a top speed of 186mph. The V8R offers a truly exhilarating driving experience.

Driving Experience

Taking the F-Type out in the pouring rain was a brave step. But it was the only opportunity I had with the car. Wow! The driving experience was incredible, this is by far the most exciting car I have driven this year. The power so was immense for the wet driving conditions, the steering was so well connected to the road, and those huge brakes stopped the car better than you could ever imagine.
